AK-47 Assault Rifle

DESCRIPTION:
The AK47 was designed by the famed Russian weapons developer Mikhail Kalashnikov. Taken into service by the Russian Army in the mid 1950s after gaining acceptance by the Trail Boards overseeing new weapon development it was given the acceptance trail designation AK 47 meaning Automav Kalashnikov 47 ( Automatic rifle designed by Kalashnikov in the year 1947 ). Chambered for the intermediate battle round in 7.62×39 over 100 million have been manufactured in various formats and it even appears on the flag of Mozambique. It has become one of the most widely used and relied upon weapon systems in the world. It continues to appear in many conflicts throughout the world.
